This section contains some Frequently Asked Questions. Many times different
people ask our mailing list similar questions. Rather than regurgitate this
information one could find ones self referred here. No doubt most people are
aware of several FAQs on the web. These links here refer to some of those
FAQs.

What are the 'Bill Mason' alignment specs?
-
For street driving, I would suggest using the following:
-
Toe set to zero (with any error leaning to toe-in)
-
Caster set to maximum with a minimum value of positive 4 1/2 5 deg
-
Camber set to negative 0.5 deg's.
-
If you use the car for competition then set to negative 1
degree.
- Ride height does not factor into
what the alignment should be. What is important is that it
will change when you lower the car, meaning it will need
to be aligned when the springs are installed. The car will
probably settle a bit over the first few months after the
springs are installed, so you may want to get it checked
3-4 months down the road.
- The only question on the alignment
is how much camber you want (toe and caster should be set
at what I have posted previously). If you are interested
in performance street driving, then you should go with
negative 0.0 deg. This will probably still wear the tires
on the OUTSIDE edge as the suspension will gain positive
camber as it rolls through hard corners. Although to a
lesser extent.
- If you are more interested in
competitive or track driving and want the best handling
and are willing to sacrifice a little on the life of the
front bearings than use negative 1.0 deg (or as close as
you can get that setting).
